ViVoce Music: Policies and Procedures 2010/2011
- Tuition is to be paid in advance by the first week of the month.
- Tuition is non-refundable.
- Your lesson time is reserved for you. Please allow 24 hours notice for cancellations. Music Instructors are professionals and their instructional time is their livelihood.
- Make up lessons are available once a month on a date determined by the instructor. They are available at the discretion and availability of the instructor, and are not guaranteed.
- "No shows" will not be credited and will not be made up.
- Teacher cancellations will be credited on next month’s billing.
- Two weeks notice is requested before discontinuing lessons.
- I reserve the right to forfeit lesson time for non- or late-payments.
When schools are closed due to dangerous road conditions, such as snow or ice, please call or email me for possible lesson cancellations.
Sick Policy: Do NOT come if you are sick!!!! Text, call or email me as soon as you know that you or your student is too sick to attend. We can schedule a make-up at the next lesson!
Practice Expectations Every private music student is expected to adequately prepare for lessons. Each parent should help make purposeful practice a normal and regular routine for their child. I assign specific goals and/or assignments for practice. If you are unsure about practice expectations or assignments, please contact me and I will be glad to clarify.
Location: Lessons will be held at Small Scholars Academy located at 249 Cherry Tree Drive, Charles Town, WV 25414
